• No installation required - ScriptMaster.fp7 database uses the auto-update feature of FileMaker Server to download the plugin from your FileMaker Server to each user's desktop

• Additional parameters for customizing the displays of charts

New in this version of SuperContainer, the SCGetInfo plugin function accepts an optional second parameter which allows you to specify additional metadata about a file stored in SuperContainer.

Specify “MD5” as the second parameter, and the SCGetInfo function will return the MD5 hash of the file on the server. This serves as a unique signature of the file, and can be used to track duplicate file uploads, or verify the integrity of files. Read all about MD5 on Wikipedia.

• Now embeds a max-width css attribute into the img tag, even if it cannot resize the image. This means that it will display correctly in your browser / web viewer, although you are downloading the full size image and then it is being shrunk down in the browser.
• Fixed a problem where SCGetContainer plugin function could return this error: "Can't start the AWT because Java was started on the first thread"
• Fixed some memory leaks in the companion plugin; could cause excessive memory useage when used thousands of times.

Jesse Barnum posted a code example showing how to use the ScriptMaster plugin to display a popup menu that appears wherever the user’s mouse is. The user can pick an item from this list and return the result to FileMaker. The code example can be viewed at the ScriptMaster discussion forum.
